Armanino LLP, one of the 25 largest accounting and business consulting firms in the U.S., today announced at the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Executive Roundtable the launch of the Armanino AI Lab for business executives seeking to deploy AI technologies within their organizations.
The AI Lab will enable decision makers with a pragmatic approach for demystifying and incorporating modern AI client-ready solutions within the business landscape.
“More than 75% of companies believe AI is fundamental to their future success, but the majority of those aren’t taking advantage of AI technology today and don’t know how to,” said Tom Mescall, partner-in-charge of Armanino’s Consulting practice. “Armanino’s AI Lab will serve as a one-stop shop that enables its members to harness the opportunities that AI offers without being left behind by their competitors.”
The Armanino AI Lab is a practical approach to integrating AI in the day-to-day working environment with using three core components of AI: predictive analytics, robotic process automation (RPA) and virtual assistants. Members will attend peer-to-peer meetings; have exclusive access to product and vendor reviews; connect with Armanino’s data scientists, AI developers and consultants; learn about AI best practices; and execute on AI proof of concepts.
Prior to launching its AI Lab, Armanino spent months researching the most common business cases for utilizing AI across the enterprise from finance, supply chain, customer experience and talent management to compliance and privacy. By developing this business case research, the Armanino AI Lab provides members with access to ready-to-deploy, proof-of-concept AI models that can be modified and customized to their specific organizational needs.
“As we continue to build out the Armanino AI Lab, we are proud to align ourselves with many of the world’s technology and software leaders in the AI space,” said John Horner, partner-in-charge of Armanino’s Data and Analytics practice. “This makes it easy for clients to access our knowledge and relationships, thereby decreasing their investment time and increasing their benefits of embracing AI technology.”
“The Armanino AI Lab presents a unique opportunity for organizations to collaborate, understand and ultimately deploy practical AI business solutions,” said Matthew Pingatore, CEO of Packet Fusion. “I’m excited to be a part of the founding group of members and look forward to what we can accomplish together.”
In a survey of the Roundtable event attendees, more than 75 percent ranked predictive analytics as most important to their organizations. Additionally, 83 percent believe their data infrastructure will need further improvement to achieve optimal results from their AI initiatives. As of today, 60 percent of event attendees have not embarked on their first initiative.
“These results indicate a huge opportunity for businesses to join Armanino’s AI Lab for use case identification, model proof of concept, education and technology reviews,” said Mescall. “We are happy to help our client begin their AI journey.”
