IIX Revolutionizes Enterprise Direct Connect with the Launch of Console Inc.

08.04.2015

IIX Inc., the global software-defined interconnection company, announces today the launch of Console Inc., a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that is changing the way organizations connect to their customers, vendors, and partners.

In conjunction with the launch of Console, the company will host Console Connect LIVE 2015 (CCL2015) at the Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco on September 9, 2015. The inaugural event will mark the unveiling of this revolutionary new SaaS platform and partner ecosystem.

CCL2015 is a one-day event that will bring together influencers, decision-makers, and thought-leaders from various industries, along with speakers from leading enterprises, content, cloud, data center, and network service providers from Silicon Valley and beyond.

“This must-attend event will introduce the world to a secure, simple, and faster way for organizations to directly connect with each other that bypasses the public Internet, provides global visibility into what has historically been invisible, and much more,” states Al Burgio, CEO and Founder of IIX Inc. and CEO of Console Inc. “In addition to launching this first of its kind SaaS platform at CCL2015, we will also unveil the initial members of our Console Partner Program and the global availability schedule for this game-changing platform.”

Internet network hijacking, Internet congestion and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are major concerns for today’s enterprises. With Akamai reporting a 117 percent rise in DDoS attacks between 2014 and 2015, and global Internet traffic set to surpass the two zettabyte threshold in 2019, these concerns will only get bigger.

This growing proliferation of security and performance issues has spurred an increased demand from enterprises for secure, direct network-to-network interconnection to business-critical cloud providers, SaaS providers, and partners. The revolutionary Console platform provides a secure, simple, and faster way for companies across the globe to connect directly.
