MetroNet Joins CloudJumper Partner Program to Offer Greater Workforce Mobility

08.25.2016

CloudJumper, a Workspace as a Service (WaaS) platform innovator for agile business IT, today announced that MetroNet Inc., a customer-focused company that provides cutting-edge fiber optic communication services, has joined with CloudJumper to become an authorized WaaS solution delivery partner. Through the partnership, MetroNet will now offer customers Office 365, hosted Quickbooks services, and hosted workspace solutions, based on the CloudJumper nWorkSpace™ platform.

MetroNet joins CloudJumper in a strategic move to expand its revenue channels with cloud-based computing services. These services are implemented using the CloudJumper platform, allowing MetroNet to deliver complete hosted workspaces, including desktops, applications, and data to small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Indiana and surrounding areas. Leveraging the CloudJumper Cloud Application Catalog, MetroNet is capable of delivering and supporting more than 2,000 applications in the cloud, which are accessible on any device, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

“MetroNet customers are increasingly interested in migrating IT to the cloud and CloudJumper provides a quick onramp into cloud computing without the cost or complexity of managing and maintaining the required infrastructure,” said Kevin Stelmach, general manager for MetroNet. “As the only comprehensive solution of its kind to integrate software, cloud infrastructure, services and support, we have found nWorkSpace to be very complementary to our portfolio. MetroNet customers have responded favorably to the new solution which is now generally available.”

“With growth forecasts for WaaS projected to be in the double digits over the next several years[ Transparency Research, Growth of Global WaaS Market Shifts into High Gear with Expanding Enterprise Mobility, Expected to Reach US$18.37 billion by 2022(1), now is the opportune time to engage with customers on the value of hosted workspaces,” said Max Pruger, chief sales officer, CloudJumper. “As a quality provider of fiber-optic based services for many years, MetroNet is well respected in the region. We look forward to supporting their efforts.”
