Bacula Systems Builds Further Improvements and Functionality Into Bacula Enterprise Edition 8.10

3.20.18

Rapidly developing new technologies for backup and restore professionals in large enterprises and managed services providers, Bacula Systems today announced Bacula Enterprise Edition 8.10, with more features for the modern data center.

This latest release continues to bring high end features designed to make System Administrators’ lives easier with more user automation, combined with more flexibility.

As a result of its success among MSPs and large data centers, Bacula Enterprise Edition is undergoing accelerated development in answer to calls from the industry to provide a solution that can replace legacy backup software with a more modern, efficient solution. Some of the additional features of this release include: more options to configure a SAP HANA cluster; user improvements to the NDMP functionality to complement data recovery in an NDMP environment, and foreign language translation capabilities.

“Bacula Enterprise Edition is already a high-end enterprise backup and recovery solution, with especially impressive scalability and stability” said Frank Barker, CEO, Bacula Systems. “However, we continue to make improvements to ensure that IT departments gain significant functionality benefits when changing from their legacy backup solution to Bacula, as well as drastically reducing their costs.”

Bacula Enterprise Edition 8.10 is a highly customizable backup and restore software for data centers, MSPs and Cloud Providers. Directly answering the IT industry’s data volume growth with a low cost subscription model that does not charge for data volume, Bacula Enterprise Edition makes it realistic to forecast cloud data recovery costs and is well known as an especially flexible backup and data recovery solution that benefits both medium and large data centers.
