Ciber Partners with CA Technologies for Application Modernization

11.09.2015

Ciber, a leading global IT consulting company, today announced that they will work with IT software provider CA Technologies to help enterprises quickly and cost-effectively modernize their IT environments.

Ciber will couple CA Technologies solutions for application development and monitoring with its Ciber Momentum(TM) platform for automating and accelerating application modernization, to help organizations more quickly deliver high-quality applications while addressing the large cost inherent in application development.

“As the pace of business change accelerates, enterprises are demanding more modern, agile solutions. Traditional IT approaches must respond to customer needs and business requirements, incorporating automation for speed, moving to the cloud for scale, and bringing together disparate, rapidly evolving architectures in the process,” said Brian Haskett, vice president, product management, Ciber. “This partnership with CA will help us deliver our clients products that naturally complement each other to enable transformation at the intersection of business and IT.”

Incorporating CA solutions into its Ciber Momentum platform will enable an integrated platform for application architecture, transformation and testing that goes beyond simply modernizing legacy applications, and transforms the entire IT operating model. Ciber has plans to support initiatives around marketing, selling and servicing CA solutions for API management, DevOps and Service Virtualization.

“Through our market-leading solutions, CA provides the software that drives competitive advantage in the application economy. We are excited to partner with Ciber to enable them to deliver a solution that will rapidly transform outdated legacy applications into cloud, mobile and digital-ready business solutions,” said Tony Jennings, vice president of North America partners, CA Technologies.
