Epicor Completes Acquisition of ShopVisible

01.05.2015

Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for retail, manufacturing, distribution, and services organizations, today announced that it has completed its acquisition of privately held ShopVisible, LLC, a dynamic provider of proven cloud retail order management and digital commerce solutions.

As previously stated in the news release, “Epicor to Acquire ShopVisibleT.,” issued on Dec. 11, 2014, the acquisition of ShopVisible is expected to expand Epicor’s position as a leading provider of extended omni-channel solutions for midsize and large retail chains. ShopVisible customers — driving hundreds of millions of dollars of gross merchandise value annually — include leading and emerging global and domestic retailers and branded manufacturers such as 3M, Liberty Hardware, Tempur-Pedic, Bluemercury, Hue, Atwoods, and Plow & Hearth.

ShopVisible and its proven, scalable multitenant software as a service (SaaS) solutions in combination with the complementary Epicor retail transaction, enterprise and analytics systems, will enable retailers to optimize the customer experience for consumers across a growing number of mobile devices, channels and interaction points. Offering one view of products, one view of customers, and one view of orders, the solution is updated in real-time, is available from any point of interaction, and integrates multiple transaction and data points to fulfill the business and customer demands in today’s omni-channel retail environment.

ShopVisible solutions — now part of the Epicor Retail suite of solutions — will be showcased both in the Epicor booth #3602 and Epicor | ShopVisible booth #322 at the National Retail Federation’s 104th Annual Convention and EXPO at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City later this month, Jan. 11-14. ShopVisible CEO, now vice president of digital commerce for Epicor, Sean Cook will present in a BIG !deas session on Tuesday, Jan. 13 from 2:30 to 3:30 PM, Level 3 Expo Hall, Room 4. In this session titled, “Enterprise-Wide Omni-Channel: A Broader Approach with Better Results,” Cook will explain why today’s top retailers are expanding their approach to omni-channel, and how an integrated technology platform across the enterprise can drive for greater insights and operational excellence resulting in higher levels of performance and growth.

ShopVisible Digital Commerce lets retailers run a state-of-the-art online business with everything needed for rich customer engagement, more productive selling, and a consistent brand experience. The solution empowers retailers to manage content, product information, pricing, wish lists, shipping, and ratings and reviews, with packaged integration to third-party systems.

ShopVisible Order Management delivers advanced stand-alone order management to support the complex business processes associated with both business to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) order processing across all channels. It includes full order management lifecycle capabilities from initial order collection through order orchestration to post-transaction order repository processes.

“The acquisition of ShopVisible provides key capabilities supporting Epicor’s vision of a converged commerce platform to serve today’s connected shoppers,” said Noel Goggin, executive vice president and general manager, Epicor Retail. “We now can offer retailers all the elements they need for omni-channel retailing through real-time interaction among our point of sale (POS), mobile POS, Enterprise Selling, eCommerce, Mobile Commerce, CRM, Sales Audit Merchandising, and Warehouse Management solutions.”
