HVR Joins Confluent Partner Program

7.31.18

HVR, provider of real-time data integration technology, today announced it has joined the Confluent Partner Program. Confluent, provider of the leading streaming platform based on Apache Kafka®, designed the program to enable a rapidly growing ecosystem around Apache Kafka and Confluent. It is the largest ecosystem of technology vendors, consulting and system integrators as well as authorized training partners offering Kafka-based solutions and services. By joining the Confluent Partner Program, HVR allows its customers to execute multi-purpose streaming, continuously delivering data from on-premises or cloud-based relational databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, and packaged applications like SAP ECC, to their Kafka platforms, moving data efficiently and securely for real-time analytics.

“HVR is committed to helping our customers adopt new, cutting-edge technologies to support their data needs,” said John Sedleniek, Vice President of Sales, Americas for HVR. “For those seeking fast, reliable, and secure continuous integration between relational databases and Kafka-based streaming platforms, Confluent and HVR provide an ideal combination.”

Confluent Platform expands Apache Kafka’s integration capabilities and adds tools to optimize and manage Kafka clusters. Confluent Open Source is freely downloadable and Confluent Enterprise is available through a subscription. Confluent Partner Program members have the opportunity to develop robust data connectivity based on the Kafka Connect API, easily build stream processing applications with Kafka’s Streams API and promote the solutions to customers worldwide.

“Similar to other verified Confluent Connectors, HVR underwent rigorous testing to ensure that it met the high standards of connectors available in the Confluent Hub,” said Siddharth Rabindran, Director of Partner Ecosystems at Confluent. “We are excited to partner with HVR as we continue to deliver a wide variety of connectors so customers can easily integrate their systems with Apache Kafka.”
