Iris Data Services Releases Latest Version of Iris Arc

09.16.2015

Iris Data Services, an Epiq Systems company (NASDAQ:EPIQ) and the leader in eDiscovery managed services, today announced the latest release of Iris Arc(SM), Iris’ flagship managed services review product.

Iris Arc gives users their own Relativity(R) environment for a fixed monthly fee. The latest Iris Arc platform offers a whole new world of reporting. For instance, the Arc product can now perform cross-workspace reporting, giving users the ability to run reports across multiple cases. No longer in a workspace, Arc is now in its own section of the administrative tabs, making it a true admin interface to Relativity.

“The new features we built into the latest version of Arc are based on our clients’ feedback and preferences,” said Major Baisden, managing director of eDiscovery managed services and Asia-Pacific at Epiq Systems. “The new dashboard and reports make managing matters in Relativity even more intuitive than before.”

The release includes a new easy-to-use dashboard, which allows users to control all review functions from one location. Users can now put all their favorite reports on the dashboard and see every matter in a single snapshot.

The added reporting capabilities make for a bird’s-eye view on data storage allocation, reviewer performance and the review environment as a whole. Users can save multiple dashboards, cuts and views. If clients only want to report on a subset of cases, they can do that too. The reporting function is also more personalized — utilizing customizable mini reports, users can see all review progress reports for a case in a single snapshot. This means that users now have the ability to see the entire environment at once.

“We like the dashboards that let us see into billing and user participation because they allow us to track our costs,” said Gray Wallington, director of eDiscovery and ESI services at Nexsen Pruet, a firm that recently signed with Iris Arc.

Building and editing layouts in Relativity has historically been difficult, but the new Arc Layout Builder makes building layouts easy with a drag-and-drop feature.

The new efficiencies in the Iris Arc platform mean that users can work even faster and more effectively. Legal teams can now get reports on their clients, for example. They can view how much storage each client’s data is using, which helps Iris Arc users get a better idea of how storage resources are allocated.
