Logi Analytics Acquired by Marlin Equity Partners

10.26.17

Logi Analytics, Inc. (“Logi”) is pleased to announce that it has been acquired by Marlin Equity Partners (“Marlin”), a global private equity firm with over $6.7 billion of capital under management. Logi is a leading embedded analytics platform that helps software application teams create engaging analytic applications that drive operations for millions of users globally.

“Today, the most effective way to deliver information to people is within the context of where they are—via a software application. Our vision is helping product leaders and developers build smarter software applications that help users make better decisions,” said Steven Schneider, CEO of Logi. “We are excited to begin our next chapter of growth and leverage Marlin’s expertise and operational resources to accelerate the delivery of our innovative products to application teams across the globe.”

“Logi has consistently maintained its position as the industry-leading embedded analytics software platform,” said Jonah Sulak, a partner at Marlin. “We are thrilled to partner with Logi and further its vision of providing companies with the ability to build smarter software for mission-critical applications. Logi is ideally positioned to lead and bring innovations to an increasingly software-driven world and we look forward to supporting the company during its next phase of growth.”

“Embedded analytics is a digital workplace capability where data analysis occurs within a user’s natural workflow and doesn’t require toggling to another application. Moreover, embedded analytics packages and contextualized data analysis is easy to use and almost invisible to the user,” said Kurt Schlegel, Research VP at Gartner, Inc. “Embedded analytics contributes to creating an organizational culture where analytics are broadly used and trusted for decision support and personal growth within the digital workplace.”*

Logi Analytics has been recognized in Gartner’s March 2017 Critical Capabilities for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms, 02 March 2017.
