New ENC Recovery Software Quickly Recovers and Restores Lost Files from Crashes, Accidental Deletions, and More

6.27.18

ENC Security, makers of DataVault, today announced the addition of ENC Recovery to its popular suite of security software. ENC Security’s new Recovery application is the data-recovery tool for anyone who has lost a file, suffered a crash, has damaged hardware, or accidentally interrupted a saving action. Intuitive and simple, Recovery performs exactly as its name implies: Recovery will find and restore a user’s data and previously established file system so their data is brought back to life just as it was before it was lost. ENC Recovery is available now for $39.99.

The ENC software is unique in that it can recover any type of file or directory structure, including those with custom extensions, GoPro, and other video footage. It’s also one of the only recovery options for digital Vaults, such as through ENC’s DataVault. While recovering a Vault with its directory structure is not typically possible with other programs, Recovery does so with ease, ensuring any files saved in a Vault are also retrievable.

“At some point nearly everyone experiences the loss of important files, be it from hardware failure, user error, malware, and so on. The experience can be panic-inducing, leaving people wondering if their data is recoverable or otherwise gone forever,” said Jeroen Wortelboer, co-founder and CEO of ENC Security. “ENC Recovery brings swift peace of mind by not only being able to recover the data in a few simple steps, but also restoring the filing system that was previously established. Plus, ENC shows proof of data recovery before a customer has to pay for the software. There’s zero barrier to entry in the event you find yourself with lost files.”

Unmatched in Nearly Every Way
ENC Security has been in the industry for years, amassing millions of customers who look to them to provide the most trusted security solutions around backup and recovery. The new Recovery software features unmatched power and versatility with the simplest user interface possible. The software will restore any type of recoverable file or folder, including those with custom extensions, regardless of the scenario that led to the need for recovery.

The software also supports complex directory structures like those found on advanced cameras, and all Western Digital and SanDisk storage products as well as all other types of attached media devices.

Recovery can be completed in just five easy steps starting with downloading and installing the free ENC Recovery program onto a PC or Mac hard drive. The next step is to open Recovery and then select the drive that held the lost folders and files. During the preview stage, ENC Recovery will show if the files are restorable, and if so, guide users through the purchase of the ENC Recovery license. The last step is to restore the files to any location.

Added Wortelboer: “We designed ENC Recovery with an intuitive interface that expedites recovery operations while the search options are intelligently organized and simplified. This streamlined user experience radically reduces the need to seek additional customer support and puts the user in control.”
