RFPIO Completes Type 2 SOC2 Examination

3.5.19

RFPIO, the leader in cloud-based RFP response management software, today announced that it has successfully completed a Type 2 Service Organization Control (SOC 2) examination for its cloud-based RFP response platform. This audit highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to customer data protection, security, and enterprise assurance.

Part of a suite of standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a SOC 2 report examines controls involving security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy of the information processed on behalf of customers.

The report and testing, conducted by Coalfire Controls, LLC, confirms that RFPIO employs best practices around corporate infrastructure, internal processes, technology infrastructure, confidentiality, and security. The result of a continuous audit and exhaustive testing over the course of the audit period, the audit report contained no qualifications and confirms that RFPIO has put best-in-class controls in place.

“Successfully completing a Type 2 SOC 2 audit without qualifications demonstrates to our customers that our platform can be trusted to adhere to strenuous compliance standards and speaks to our commitment to industry best security and privacy practices,” said RFPIO’s Chief Information Officer AJ Sunder. “We are also fully committed to complying with new controls and regulations as they continue to evolve. Our comprehensive approach to data protection and privacy is an important reason why a growing number of enterprise companies are adopting the RFPIO platform.”
