Sticky Password Teams Up with Nine Notable Security Companies for National Internet Safety Month

06.09.2015

June is National Internet Safety Month. Sticky Password, a leading password management software provider, is teaming up with a group of renowned security companies this month to address practical Internet safety for all Internet users. National Internet Safety Month is an opportunity for Internet users to evaluate their online behaviors and identify ways to improve their online safety.

Sticky Password has teamed up with the following notable companies in the security industry to educate users on securing their digital footprint.

Avira: Antivirus that provides comprehensive protection
SpyShelter: An anti keylogger with powerful system protection and keystroke encryption
TigerVPN: The most complete Virtual Private Network (VPN) in the world
Qustodio: Parental control software to monitor and track your child’s online activity
EmsiSoft: An antivirus/anti-malware software program
The Security Awareness Company: Provides security awareness programs for companies
Auslogics: Developer and publisher of computer maintenance and optimization software
Blackblaze: Automatically backs up your data to the cloud
CyberGhost: Provides the world’s most trusted and secure VPNs

To get users involved and to share their experiences about practical online safety at home, Sticky Password is hosting a competition throughout June in which individuals can submit examples of real-life stories concerning their own online safety. These stories could include security practices of staying safe online or memorable experiences that they’ve learned from. Stories could revolve around a distressing situation where a lesson was learned on being more careful online or one where a potential threat was recognized and avoided.

The 10 best entries during the month will receive a security bundle of products costing more than $330 from the participating vendors including a VPN, anti-virus, anti-keylogger, parental control, PC optimizer, as well as Sticky Password. All stories should be submitted to mystory@stickypassword.com and the winning stories will be shared on Sticky Password’s blog and social media sites including Facebook and Twitter.
