Transport Pro Releases E-Signature Feature for Brokers

2.12.20

Transport Pro’s new e-signature tool makes it easy for brokers to share electronic rate confirmations with carriers. This enhanced, paperless workflow gives users the ability to send and receive electronic rate confirmations with the click of a button.

“Drivers don’t have time to stop, print a rate confirmation, sign it, and scan it back. They need to focus on getting to the next pickup safely, and on time,” says Kenneth Kloeppel, Director of Technology at Transport Pro. “With our integrated e-signature solution, drivers can quickly sign a rate confirmation from their phone, and the signed documents are automatically sent back to the dispatcher and saved with the load in Transport Pro.”

The Transport Pro e-signature solution is built right into the Transport Pro TMS. With a few clicks, the dispatcher sends the carrier an email from Transport Pro, with a link to visit the secure e-signature site to complete the transaction. Additionally, the broker dispatcher will receive an email when the carrier opens the message, making it easy for dispatchers to know the carrier received, and saw, the signature request. The carrier can sign the rate confirmation from a computer, phone, or tablet and get it back to the broker within seconds.

Once the carrier electronically signs the document, it is automatically filed with the load in Transport Pro. Users can easily review the signed documents in the TMS and download or forward the document if needed. This exciting new feature streamlines the process for both end users, promoting efficiency and giving operational teams contractual visibility at the beginning of a load’s life cycle.
