Unit4 Acquires Assistance Software

4.6.17

Utrecht & Naarden, Netherlands & Burlington, United States, April 5th, 2017 – Unit4, a fast growing leader in enterprise applications for service organizations, has acquired Assistance Software, a leading provider of Professional Services Automation (PSA) solutions, known for delivering out-of-the-box PSA solutions designed for specific services industries.

The acquisition extends Unit4’s already comprehensive solution for professional services organizations (PSOs). The new Unit4 PSA Suite adds an industry-leading front end with the added advantage of seamless integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Unit4’s extended portfolio means that PSOs of all sizes can benefit from a standalone cloud PSA solution. Unit4 PSA Suite can also be implemented on top of an organization’s ERP solution, including Unit4 Business World On!, creating a full end-to-end solution for PSOs as well as service divisions in non-PS organizations.

Today’s news supports Unit4’s strategy to deliver specialized customer-facing solutions to services organizations so they can improve the management of their business operations from front- to back-office. The new Unit4 PSA Suite is both born in the cloud and truly customer facing, with an option for native integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.

Unit4 delivers the full PSA Suite required by professional services organizations (PSOs) to improve performance based on real-time insight and enhanced visibility across all aspects of the business. Customers will benefit from:
• True visibility into their services pipeline;
• Engagement with opportunities earlier in the sales cycle, improving both win rates and utilization rates;
• Better transition from sales into services for a seamless customer experience;
• The ability to determine the types of clients and projects that are a best fit; and
• A full 360-degree view of the customer through the sales and services cycle.

Unit4 and Assistance Software both specialize in delivering powerful, industry-specific solutions. Together the companies will focus on extending the functionality and delivering pre-built content for key verticals within professional services but also extend the offering to other relevant project-based industries.
