9.30.16

V.i. Laboratories, Inc, a leading provider of cloud-based software analytics solutions to generate actionable intelligence on the use and misuse of applications, today announced CodeArmor® Intelligence 5.1. The solution delivers scalability to collect and analyze large datasets that maximizes software license revenue recovery opportunities for global software providers, while meeting data privacy requirements around the world.

Building on nearly a decade of technology and software license compliance experience, the latest enhancements to CodeArmor Intelligence benefit software vendors of all sizes. V.i. Labs’ turnkey compliance solutions and services have generated actionable intelligence that has driven more than $1.4 billion in new license revenue for customers’ compliance programs since 2010.

“Our customers are collecting data on millions of infringers, so the ability to quickly and easily identify and act on compliance revenue opportunities is critical,” said Vic DeMarines, Vice President of Products and Strategy at V.i. Labs. “At the same time, it is important for them to comply with data protection regulations without impacting their ability to collect and analyze infringement data. CodeArmor Intelligence 5.1 leverages best-in-class technology and partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities while addressing these issues.”

New capabilities available in CodeArmor Intelligence 5.1, a secure, trusted solution, include:
• Granular policy management that supports the collection and storage of license infringement data to address data protection regulations; CodeArmor Intelligence can now redirect or hash data that is being collected based on the location of the machine and the vendor’s specific data collection policies
• Secure case management and customizable workflows that run on Force.com, and leverage its certifications and best practices; modularized dashboard environment enables customers to control access to compliance data and deploy approval workflows when working with outsourced compliance services
• Machine-centric dashboards that provide greater flexibility and scalability for managing infringement data deliver a more complete, matched profile of usage data associated with organizations and compliance targets
• Enhanced enterprise class dashboards and visualizations that streamline the collection and analysis of large data sets to make license compliance data more discoverable and actionable; leverages integrations with Tableau for customers with large data sets

“We’re really impressed with the new dashboard and how much easier it is to uncover infringers that we can act on right away. As a long standing customer, we rely on V.i. Labs’ continually improving CodeArmor to make it even more valuable for us,” said the principal compliance analyst at a leading EDA software vendor. “Our ability to identify key compliance targets with quality domain data is another example of V.i. Labs’ experience meeting our enterprise needs.”
