Angoss Embeds Qlik Sense Self-Service Visualization Platform in its Software Suite

06.23.2016

Angoss Software Corporation (Angoss) today announced the integration of the Qlik® visual analytics platform into Angoss’ software suite and predictive analytics platform. The integration will enable users to explore simple and complex data to find hidden data relationships, formulate effective strategies, and predict business outcomes.

Angoss is excited about the Qlik integration, as it reinforces our mission to provide users with innovative and easy-to-use tools for data exploration, discovery, visualization and communication of advanced analytics results with business leaders.

This strategic business agreement further solidifies Angoss’ focus on enhancing the user experience by enabling the performance of all analytics tasks – advanced data preparation, modeling, evaluation, deployment and now interactive data visualization via Qlik – in a single environment. The integration of Qlik’s self-serve visualization platform allows users to access Qlik’s functionality directly from within Angoss’ workflow without having to export data to other environments.

Angoss’ data science platform and Qlik Sense® together provide the ultimate analytics environment for users of all skill levels. Additionally, drag-and-drop and wizard-based functionality automates the data mining and visualization process thus eliminating the need for coding. In particular, pre-built functional nodes in Angoss’ software suite auto-generate code and eliminate user coding errors while reducing coding time by more than 30%.

“Angoss’ easy-to-use advanced analytics combined with Qlik’s interactive visual analytics, transform the user experience by maximizing user skills,” said Rick Makos, President and Chief Executive Officer, Angoss. “Both platforms streamline analytics processes and contribute to significant productivity gains. Decision makers will now have access to viewing advanced analytics results via the Qlik Sense app to easily drive insight discovery and meaningful decisions resulting in long and short-term business value.”

“The Angoss suite complements Qlik’s visual analytics platform by extending the reach of addressable use-cases to the area of advanced and predictive analytics – capabilities in demand by many of our customers,” said Mike Foster, vice president of strategic partners, Qlik. “The seamless integration between the platforms shortens the time to value for mutual customers seeking a broader solution for self-service visualization and advanced analytics.”
