Vena Solutions Achieves “Built For NetSuite” Status

05.19.2016

Vena Solutions, the fastest growing provider of cloud-based corporate performance management (CPM) solutions, today announced that the company’s integrated CPM SuiteApp has achieved ‘Built for NetSuite’ status. Built using NetSuite’s SuiteCloud Platform, Vena for NetSuite offers a unified finance and accounting management solution with a unique, native Excel interface.

Built for NetSuite is a program for NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network (SDN) partners that provides them with information, resources and a method to verify that their applications and integrations, built using the NetSuite SuiteCloud Computing Platform, meet NetSuite’s standards and best practices. The Built for NetSuite program is designed to give NetSuite customers additional confidence that SuiteApps have been built to meet these standards.

“This is really a ‘best of both worlds’ scenario for our mid-market and enterprise customers,” said Don Mal, CEO of Vena Solutions. “With the Vena for NetSuite SuiteApp, we’re combining the power of NetSuite with the familiarity of Excel.”

The Vena for NetSuite SuiteApp combines Excel with enterprise-grade features including a centralized database, workflow and collaboration functionality, version control and automated source system integration – including NetSuite’s backend ERP processes. As a result, the companies’ mutual customers can now enjoy greater efficiencies while staying in a familiar Excel environment, for business processes including:

• Budgeting, planning and forecasting;
• Financial close management (month-end, quarterly, year-end close);
• Management and regulatory reporting;
• Real-time modeling and analytics including variance analysis against forecasted data;
• Any repeatable, Excel-based process across and beyond finance.

Added Mal, “while we expect early adoption in finance and accounting, the bigger picture is allowing our customers to automate any spreadsheet-driven business process – from HR to marketing to legal operations – across their organizations.”
