PDS Announces Vista HCM 7.0.7

4.15.19

PDS®, a leading provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions, today announced its newest version of its flagship HCM platform, Vista 7.0.7. This new version offers important enhancements to both its Analytics and Learning Management components, as well as many other updates, providing both administrative and self-service users with further streamlined functionality to ease processes and save them significant time.

“Our goal at PDS has always been to look at our customers’ human capital management needs on a granular level and develop solutions that will simplify their business practices and processes,” said Pat Palmer, president and CEO at PDS. “The enhancements in our Analytics and Learning Management components in Vista 7.0.7 enable users to streamline processes, leverage the powerful data within the system and empower them to make better business decisions.”

Vista 7.0.7 Analytics component now allows for person-based analytics, in addition to the standard location, company and organization-based analytics that provide a more overall picture. By being able to drill down to detailed analytics on benefits information, payroll, performance, and much more, for each employee users can more easily measure and analyze data.

In addition, the Dynamic Dashboard has been updated with new graph types and the ability to copy Dynamic Dashboards to everyone within an organization or to certain users. This saves the administrative staff a significant amount of work eliminating the need to create dashboards for each employee and it gives users relevant dashboards with actionable analytics right at their fingertips.

In this newest release, the Learning Management component now offers the ability to create, track, and manage courses; as well as provide custom Learning Plans for individual employees. Users can choose to limit self-service enrollment to only those courses assigned to an employee’s Learning Plan; or open self-service enrollment to all available courses. Class Rosters and Available Courses for Learning Plans reporting are also available to keep managers informed of the progress of their direct reports. Furthermore, as courses are completed, an employee’s record is automatically updated with resulting new skills, certifications, licenses, etc.
